What has a tongue, six eyes and a sole? A shoe! Teeny Zeeny Volume 8, Shoes, has been topped with a bow and will be on its way to subscribers soon.

From the moment you started walking, you probably also started wearing shoes! They protect the bottoms of our feet from the hot and cold, plus any rough surfaces we might be walking on. Some shoes serve a specific function, like bowling shoes: they are very smooth on the bottom to protect the shiny floor of a bowling alley. Saddle shoes and penny loafers are examples of fashion shoes; they put a certain finishing polish on an outfit. Some shoes are just for fun—roller skates are tricky to wear but let you skim across the surface of the sidewalk like a bird.
