Let's go on a trip!
Have you ever left home before? It’s exciting to take a plane or a train and spend a few days somewhere else. You will sleep in a different bed, eat different food, and spend the day doing special activities. You will learn a lot about other people and places when you travel, and you might even find out a thing or two about yourself.
But before you arrive at your destination, there’s the adventure of the travel itself. You will decide what to bring on your journey, and pack it in a bag. You will get a ride to the airport or train station, and learn how to find your seat. You might feel a little loopy if you’re traveling to a place many time zones away! That’s called jet lag, and it’s a normal part of being far from home. You might even wish you could sleep in your own bed or meet your friends at the playground… that’s called being homesick, and that happens to everyone once in a while.
Even if you're not traveling this summer, do a little armchair traveling with Teeny Zeeny 20, Travel. And scroll on for a matching baggage claim game, carry-on documents enclosed in this month's issue, and a cover reveal for Teeny Zeeny 21.
Bon voyage!
