Happy spring, veggie lovers!

Soon the whites and grays of winter will be a distant memory, and the world will burst into color. Spring brings new leaves, cheerful daffodils, and Teeny Zeeny 15, Vegetables—a little nudge to start thinking about your summer vegetable garden, or maybe just a trip to the grocery store later this week.

How do you like to eat your vegetables? Do you crunch on carrots? Mash your potatoes? Carefully avoid every pea in your bowl? I like to dip bell peppers into hummus, or dump a whole bunch of spinach into a blender for a green smoothie.

Vegetables are just edible parts of plants. Lots of foods we classify as vegetables actually aren't: tomatoes and zucchini (fruits!), broccoli (a flower!), and even peas and beans (seeds!) Whatever we call them, vegetables are great for our bodies and actually taste pretty good, too—but we all have to learn that lesson in our own time (I was roughly 27). What's your least least-favorite vegetable?

A sneak peek...

Some days there are four scoops of ice cream and other days a bird steals your ice cream. The first step of dealing with feelings is naming those feelings, and we'll do just that in TZ 16, Feelings!
